Dual monitor configuration - need help
hi, ive bought myself a vga splitter cable, and I cant work out how to either use clone screen or extend my desktop. i am using onboard graphics, with 1 vga port. any help would be appreciated.

What's the problem?
A splitter cable should put your desktop on both monitors without doing anything. Problem is that all vga splitters are not created equally. There are some that don't do well with resolutions over 800x600. Pauldo |

Thats exactly the problem I think. When I use the splitter, I cannot use different resolutions on my 2 screens (one is 20" and one is 15") the only way I can get it normal is by using 1024x768, an i obviously dont want to do that on my 20", which has a native res of 1680x1050 =S
