UPS Issue

I have a Best Technologies FD7KVA uninterruptible power supply that is switching to battery power at seemingly random times for various lengths of time. Has anyone had this kind or any ups with the same problem? The frequency, battery voltage, input and output voltage have all been tested and are at the right levels. The batteries are one year old. The current draw is only 4 amps at 120 volts. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Re: UPS Issue

do you mean the input to the UPS or the draw from the computers power through the ups?

Re: UPS Issue

if the other computers don't have the problem
i was thinking the psu is going and causing it to switch to the ups when the line drops to far and supplies insufficient power

Re: UPS Issue

I'm still not sure i understand you. At the the times that the UPS is switching itself to battery power the input voltage and frequency have been checked and are operating at the correct amounts, yet the UPS is supplying power from the batteries. Even the logs in the UPS's memory state that the power never dropped below its tolerance. Is that the point of failure you were talking about?
