speakers, headphones(mice), receiver
Hello guys. Im having terrible time with setup this thing. Ok here we go.
I have asus p5kc motherboard and i use realtek hd audio manager . I just want, that speakers and headhpones with microphone works at the same time, so that i dont need to plug in or plug out some device. So basicly if i want to play on computer speakers i just dont get my headphones on my head or if i want to play with headphones i just turn off speakers. Another thing is, if i want to listen music on receiver (home cinema) i dont get any sound. Its connected on computer via spdif out. So please, can any1 help me, i dont know what to do =(( im completely lost here for 2 days now and its frustrating. Only thing that works are headphones with mice... No sound from computer speakers and from receiver and home cinema speakers... omg... Btw i have 2 cables going out from headphones green and pink and 1 from computer speakers. I hope someone can give me instructions how to fix this.. ty very much. |

Re: speakers, headphones(mice), receiver
By plugging in your speakers to the green audio input where your headphones are plugged in, your speakers will work [Located at the back of the computer]
Separate input for headphones should be at the front of your case. _Johnny |

Re: speakers, headphones(mice), receiver
Have you checked to see if multi-streaming is enabled in your Realtek Audio Manager?
Should be able to find it in the Mixer tab. Click on the wrench icon under Playback and there should be an option for 'Enable playback multistreaming' You won't be able to have audio working on both your computer speakers and over SPDIF. Pauldo |

Re: speakers, headphones(mice), receiver
Vista can make things difficult.
Is there any way you can get a screen shot of the Mixer tab in your Realtek Audio Manager? My XP machine has Realtek, my Vista has SoundMax so I'm only going off of what I have read. For SPDIF/analog you might try using this driver. If that doesn't work than maybe you can try XP drivers. I have seen that work on a few machines. It doesn't work every time though. You also may not get surround sound this way. It would only pass 2 channel audio is both analog and digital are selected. Pauldo |
