My freind has a gateway pentium III Windows XP home, and he wants to use a wireless keyboard, mouse(usb).
Everything worked fine when the original keyboard was still plugged into the parrallel port , but when he took the original keyboad out and rebooted the computer will go through the boot process and right before the win logon it reboots. If you plug the original keyboard back into the port it will boot all the way no problem...I told him to go into the bios and make sure the usb legacy was enabled, He enabled it. Still reboots if the original keyboard is not pluged in. also tried to disable the parrallel port and no progress! Any ideas would be appreciated.. |
