Logitech G5 mouse problem
Ok, Well this just started to happen today; My desk is set up so that my mouse cord hangs off of my keyboard tray, But since today, I can not let the cord hang anymore. Now, when my cord hangs the mouse will act like it will lose power and go black, then about 5 minutes later it will say it has power. Once I move it it will go black again.
Now that I have have the cord over top of my desk resting on it it will work perfectly. Is my mouse dying? I only had it for a year. Thanks for the help in advance! -Warfare |

Re: Logitech G5 mouse problem
Sounds like a connection issue somewhere in the cord or near one of the ends. I think the G5 mice have a 3-year warranty. You could try selecting a small length of the cord and gently bending it, and if that doesn't cut the power to the mouse, move on to the next and repeat. You should be able to isolate which part of the cord the problem is originating from that way (if it is a cord issue).
