dvd burner choppy sound!!
Hi. I bought a new sony dvd burner. It plays the dvds very choppy (just the sound is choppy, movie is smooth). It burns dvds fine and when I burn a cd, it is the only thing I can do on my computer as it slows everything way down. I actually brought it back to the store and gopt a new one, thinking it was broken. The new one does the same. I have a dell 2.4 , with 512 mb ram. I have this hooked up as my slave. Should I make it the master? It is the second one on my cable thing as I have a cdrom drive hooked up originally, so I just hooked this into it. Any help would be appreciated as I am learning all this good stuff!! Thanks
