High-Def demystify?
First off, I'm not sure where exactly this fits. My question is about monitor resolution and concerns gaming and blu-ray.
Ok, so I'm new to High-Def in general and am wondering about where my setup fits in and what my capabilities are. I have a 22" Samsung 2232bwPlus monitor connected to a Geforce 8800GTS 640 card with a LG Blu-Ray drive. I know that the monitor's resolution is 1680x1050. What does this translate to in terms of HD resolution for watching blu-rays? Also, if I were to pick up a PS3 or 360 and connect it to my Samsung, what can I expect in terms of HD performance/compatibility? I've tried searching general forums and gaming forums, but still can't quite come up with where I stand. Thanks. |
