FF/RR not working on WMC Remote
I recently purchased a WMC remote for my media PC running WinXP SP3 MCE. The thing works great right off the bat, no drivers or setup needed, it just worked. However there are issues I'm having. I read the manual for the remote which was no help and searched around Google and WMC help with little success. Was hoping someone here might have had the same issue and was able to resolve it.
1. FF/RR does not work. I only play digital movie files, so I have not tested it on an actual DVD, but I rarely play them and if I do I tend to use my Xbox instead. The manual says it should to the progressive speeds (2x, 4x, 8x) when you click it, but I'm not getting anything to work. There's no visual display on the TV either that might give me some info (like it will say PAUSE when I use the pause button). 2. I've been able to get around it by using the Skip/Replay buttons but they only skip a few seconds at a time. So my 2nd question is how would I set the skip/replay to a user setting like 10s or 30s when I press them. |
