CDs aren't playing!!

I use HP CD-Writer 9100i series. Recently I was burning a CD, and when it was done, I tried to play it, but the damn CD drive won't play it!. When I double click on drive D, nothing happens! ***? what's going on? I restarted my comp twice and still the same problem. Then I tried to use other CDs, the same thing happened.. What the hell?! I even tried the "autoplay" feature, but it just wont open. But when I played the CDs on my Laptop, it worked fine. What the flying &$!*? Plz help me!!!! PLEASE!! PLEASE!!!

I found out the problem.. my system files were corrupt, probably cuz of some virus or trojan. I just reinstalled Windows, and now it's all good
