Compaq FP5315 Monitor
I have a Compaq FP5315 LCD monitor that blinks in about 2 second intervals, when the computer is turned on, you can see video for about a second, then it goes black (green power indicator light on monitor also flashes off/on at same intervals) for about a second, then repeats. It's not the tower or video card I'm 99.9% sure of that since the computer works 100% fine with a different monitor. Any suggestions? I googled the problem and some said maybe a bad back-light or capacitor? I have some slight experience with board level electronics but not a whole lot. I've changed out LCD monitors and inverters on laptops but never on a LCD desktop monitor. Any help guys? please?
