Hi people,
I've recently bought a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 (Bluetooth) and I can connect it to the computer with both its own transceiver or my laptop's internal bluetooth but when I move the mouse the pointer won't move a bit. I did everything like > Installed Intellipoint 6.3 > Formatted the computer and reinstalled Intellipoint 6.3 > Googled almost every topics about it > ... So how did I know it was connected, when I pressed the button right below of the mouse for a couple of seconds, the intellipoint software said the it was connected and wanted me to press next button etc. I amm currently using Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 and it's working fine. I've not encountered that kinda problem with the mouse I am currently using before and I haven't been able to find any solution for the one I've recently bought named Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000. It's damn annoying and I am just wondering you people have got some solutions or encountered same problem of mine. Thanks and if you know the way to solve this problem, please let me know. Thanks in advance again... By the way the technical configuration about my computer you might wanna know : > Windows Vista Business Edition X86 Installed. (Sp1 and all the lastest updates are installed) > DELL E1505 with True Mobile Bluetooth + EDR Last edited by davidfetcher; 01-20-2009 at 10:32 PM. |

Re: Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 sucks !
I bought the same mouse and I have the same problem!!!
I hate it! sometimes it works if i disable the first mouse I had, but if it is idle to long or if the computer restarts, the pointer doesn't work again! I even tried installing it on my laptop and I had the same stupid problem. This mouse sucks and I don't have the packaging to return it. Did you ever figure out *** is wrong with it? |

Same problem. can connect wireless keyboard fine but can not connect wireless laser mouse 8000. i have vista sp 1 64-bit. this is hugely frustrating - have wasted a lot of time trying to figure this out. replace batteries. downloaded. Installed Intellipoint 6.3. This BLOWS. Any ideas?
