Keyboard not functioning?

i have a kensington pilotboard wireless keyboard/mouse combo. theyve always worked perfectly fine, but the other night my keyboard randomly died. it wouldnt type or communicate with the computer whatsoever in any application. the mouse still worked just fine, so it wasnt the receiver. i changed to a couple different pairs of new batteries, and nothing worked. ive got a corded keyboard to use now, but id really like my nice one back. any ideas how to get it back up and running?

try the keyboard on another computer or even a laptop. If it still does not work throw it away its done.
