Text not clear`

hey guys i have just built a pc and i have installed all the drivers and updated drivers for video card etc.. i have the res on 1776x1000 but the text isnt smooth.... someplaces the words are kinda blured and hard to read

anyone have any ideas.. please help

What's the brand/model of the monitor?
Have you tried different resolutions?
Does that make the text more readable?
Maybe the monitor isn't fond of that resolution....?

Your monitor probably doesn't support the resolution you've set it at, thats why the text is blured. Set the resolution lower, it should help.

Set the screen resolution to match the monitor's native resolution. This gives the clearest results. Then go to Start > Control Panel > Display > Appearance tab, click the Effects button and enable ClearType from the 'Smooth edges of screen fonts' dropdown.
