My Pc Don't Boot Up, Fan Failed

Last night I noticed my computer screen turning into black background with lots of messages .... boot failed etc etc...
I turned the power down and restarted .... again black background with many sentences showing steps it is performing to boot up... and in the end it says "FAN FAILED"...

Any suggestion how to fix the problem.... I am not a techy guy but can certainly play around the computer to fix it:

- If Fan failed, which fan... "CPU Fan" or "Processor Fan"?
- Can I just change the boot sequence and avoid computer to check for Fan while booting? Is that something you will advice? If yes, how do I do that.
- If I need to change Fan, where do I get that and How to change it?

Thanks a lot in advance
vik

Re: My Pc Don't Boot Up, Fan Failed

CPU Fan" or "Processor Fan
one and the same
if this fan has failed you need to replace it before using the computer
check it is plugged in ok
check it is not clogged up with dust
if it is blow it out with a can of air and then see if it returns to normal speed

Thank you Dai..
I will try these two steps tonight and see if helps...
If Fan still doesn't come back on I guess next step will be to change the fan... How difficult it is to change the fan?
