Can't use multiple USB ports.
I have my computer connected via wireless usb connector. Whenever I plug in my external HD it disconnects. If I the connector and replug it in the HD disconnects. Anyone got any ideas whats wrong?
XP sp2, intel celeron (williamette), don't know if any other specs are needed. |

Re: Can't use multiple USB ports.
Well yeah I'd already thought I've that, only a few problems:
1) I was hoping to fix this without spending money. 2) If I do buy it and it doesn't work then I'm out whatever money I spent on it wit useless hardware sitting around 3) The 480mbps (might be even slower, I don't know if its 1.1 or 2.0 ports as old as the computer is) will get split between the devices if it does work. Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm trying to fix what I've already got. |
