Problem with my new Hanns-G

I've recently purchased one of Hanns-G's wide screen monitors

Yes I understand that its not the most expensive LCD on the market and you get what you pay for, but I trust the Hanns-G name
My problem is, there is some light bleed at the top and bottom which cause my blacks near the bottom to seem to become strange colors almost like spilled gasoline or something its hard to explain but the way it is its hard to play games =\
Any suggestions as to how I could overcome this little problem?

Hello ,

return this monitor

it has a bad screen / not all manufacturers can control quality and this one sliped by

it is a manufacturer defect & non repairable
