Hi,
I bought a secondhand computer and when I turn it on it comes up with the BIOS setup page, which I don't know much about. Problem is keyboards won't work so I can't setup or get past it. It came with a PS/2 which works fine on my other computer but when I put it on the new one the lights flash once and then nothing happens. I went and got USB keyboard and put it in all the usb ports I can find and it didn't work either. No lights come up or anything. I have no idea what's wrong with it???? If you need more detail please ask. Any help appreciated! Thank you |

Re: PS/2 & USB Keyboards not working
hi,
first off what kind of bio's are you running? I had this same problem and it was a simple fix, you might have to do a little bit of exploring since your new to the bios thing.. explore around in your BIOS being sure NOT to change anything, the only thing oyur looking for is an option that will say: Plug & Play OS Yes/No make sure you change that to YES save bios and exit... this is simply so the motherboard wil automatically recognize your mouse, keyboard, USB ports Etc... |

Re: PS/2 & USB Keyboards not working
I have tried two different ps/2 and a usb, none of them respond. They all work on my other computer so I don't think the keyboards are at fault...
