help with my lcd

My mother has purchased a digital lystyles 42' lcd almost 1 year ago. It was working fine, then the color went to grey. Now when you turn it on, it flashes red, blue, black and green. That is all it will do and I have checked all the hookups for cable and so forth. Please help me to eliminate and solve the problem. Thanks

Re: help with my lcd

Do you still have the manual? Is there a code that has to be put in or something? if it flashes red, green and blue (RGB) then its telling you its got all the colours it needs but its waiting for something from you.

Perhaps its not receiving a signal properly? Is this just a normal (but big) monitor? If so, try using a different VGA/DVI cable just in case its that. Also, try the computer with another monitor just in case the computer is broke and is having problems sending a signal. Trial and error!
