If I hook my PC monitor up to my 1st video card, and my HDTV to my 2nd video card could I for example play a video on my PC and project it on my TV somehow?

using a dual-head video card, yes. You cannot use two single heads i do not think, and you can't use the onboard and graphics card simultaneously.

Well I got it to work sort of. I hooked my PC monitor up normally to my 1st video card, and my HDTV up via s-video/VGA to my 2nd video card and I have it running on a vertical dual screen set-up.

The only thing is, how do I set it up so that my TV can play sound?

most likely you will need separate audio cables for your sound.

If you have 7.1 sound card, use a 1/8" to rual RCA male adapter, go from gray plug (side speakers) to RCA audio in on TV.
