help with E-mu 0404 USB audio interface
okay I am trying to set up a home recording studio, and i just received this E-MU 0404 Audio Interface in the mail today..
I installed the drivers and did everything the manual said... .. I changed all my audio settings and disabled the consumer soundcard, and then enabled the emu 0404. after this, I went into my software program, and when I tried to record, no sound was coming out. so I made sure everything was plugged in right (USB, XLR to my condenser, power cord, phantom) and everything is set up correctly. but STILL, no sound coming from my speakers, and no voice recording at all. do you have any suggestions on what my problem is? oh, and I checked to make sure my OS was compatible... I have Windows XP sp2 and an Intel Motherboard & Chipset. I checked the manual and these were the requirements. I'm at a total loss. any help, at all? EDIT: also, I went to E-Mu's homepage, and they have no phone number for audio interface technical support. So I'm pretty much ****** as far as getting professional help with this.. |
