monitor blank after a second or two

Hi there, I am guessing it is dead but it never hurts to ask now does it?

I have a Dell E172FPb monitor, it turns on and works normally for a second or two and then goes blank. The power button stays green though. I have tried 3 different computers and different vga cords and power cords.

Any ideas?

Hello ,

yes this sounds as if that some thing has gone wrong with it / if it was just happening with just one system they i would of said that you have hardware or driver issues

but since you tried it on other working systems !!!!!

Hello ,

you can take it to a repair shop

it may just be something very simple
