Mic Problem

I have a logitech mic (headset) that works on one of my win xp's but not on the other. For some reason, their is just no sound output. Volume control says the mic volume is on, and my AC97 Audio Configuration is set to headphone with the mic in. I tested the hardware with the windows voice playback thing and got nothing. I have no clue why it will only work on one computer but not the other. If it helps, I'm using the mic for teamspeak for pc gaming. Getting the mic to work on the computer it doesn't work on is a must. Help would greatly be appreciated.

Please tell us more about the computer the mic does not work on.

Its an XP, works fine, lots of ram
