OK, I know how to burn a typical CD from the songs I have stored on my computer. I know how to make a duplicate copy also.
What I don't know how to do....(can it even be done?.....if so, how?).....is to eliminate certain parts of a song. For instance, a song that was recorded Live. Well, it has all this talking at the beginning. I get sick of hearing it over & over again. Is there a way to burn the song to CD, eliminating all the talk at the beginning, and just picking-up where the song starts? Also some songs that are the l o n g version, that I can't stand all the nonsense in the middle of the song. Is there a way to somehow pause the burning, as the song continues, and then continue the burning where you want to pick-up at again? Like you can do when recording a Cassette Tape. I have - Real Player, Roxio Easy CD Creator 6, Plex Tools Professional (VERY new at using it, not real sure how), and Creative Play Center. Think there's also a Windows Media Player, Winamp, & MusicMatch. Have never used the last 3. Anyone know if this can be done, and how to do it? THANKS!! |

Audacity is a free sound editor, you might give it a look.

Thanks!!
Thanks!! I simply had no idea there were Editing programs out there! I was looking for an EDIT button on my burning programs.
So far I've downloaded Goldwave, but think the learning curve will be a big one for me. Will certainly look at these others. Sure is nice to have people on here, who are kind enough to help with what they know, that someone else might not. Thanks again!!!! |
