Hi,
I wasn't sure where to post this but here goes. I would like to put several home videos (VHS) onto DVD-R's. What is the best way to go about this??? Should I get a capture card, if so, how do I convert it all to DVD format? I am somewhat confused at this point. I have plenty of harddrive room and a DVD burner so any help would be appreciated. Also, anyone that could recommend a good program to copy my dvd collection to dvd-r's would be much appreciated since I have trouble with both the copyrights and compressig 9gig dvds. Thanks! |

I've not tried this myself, so no experience here. I would think the video capture card would be an essential here. If you already have DVD-R software installed, I would expect it to be able to compile the file for you from your home video to DVD format without much ado. You'll need video capture software, which may come with the card, I don't know, but you'll need that to copy the video to the hard drive. Once on the drive you'll make the conversion using the DVD-R software I believe.
