No Power
I have an Alienware Area51 - about 3 years old - all original stuff - Intel DBG850 Motherboard w/1.5 P4 - 300W ATX power supply. All of a sudden it just won't power up. A green light illuminates on the motherboard, but no hard drive, fans, etc. Does this sound like a bad power supply? I don't have a spare to try.
Thanks in advance........

It could be the P/S, but it could also be the MB. First step, blow all the dust out of the machine, then reseat all the connectors, memory modules, expansion cards, etc. and see if that helps.
FWIW, you can test the P/S on the bench by putting a load on the 12 volt supply and jumpering the power switch pins. If the supply works, you can measure the voltages with a voltmeter to see if it's basically working. If it doesn't start, it's probably bad.
