Wireless Mouse Gone Bad
Question: can I replace only the mouse of a keyboard/mouse set?
I have a Logitech (M/N Y-RQ52) keyboard and wireless mouse combo that has been wonderful under heavy use for a couple of years. The mouse seems to be nearly ready to die; main symptom - I get frequent double clicks when I only click once. If I go get another mouse will it talk to the Logitec sender unit I'm using now? I know that combo's are almost the same price as buying the mouse separately but the tree hugger in me doesn't want to throw away a perfectly good keyboard/sender unit if I don't have to.

Re: Wireless Mouse Gone Bad
You could keep the keyboard and sender in case either of them fail on your new set :)
Alternatively, maybe there's someone on ebay selling just the mouse piece, or maybe you could even sell your keyboard/sender to someone who has just the mouse?

Re: Wireless Mouse Gone Bad
Ready for this.......................................???
I bought another Logitech mouse, put the batteries in, hit the reset button on both the mouse and the old sender - works like a charm.
