Computer not turning on

So, I just bought a new heatsink and replaced my old one and it fits perfectly while changing it i accidently hit my mother board with a screwdriver but in the past ive done that and it still works. and now the heatsink is in and computer wont turn on at all its like i never plugged it in. i put in the old heatsink and still didnt work. What do i Do?

You may try resetting cmos. But you may have damaged the board
with the screwdriver slip.

Hmm. maybe but would it still atleast turn on at all? How do i reset the bios? Also it it shows no cosmetic signs that i slipped

You may try to read the manual. It will give you details on how to clr
cmos. Or you may try unplugging pc from wall, then take the battery
out, looks like a quarter, shiney and silver, for about 30 seconds.
See if it will boot.

I just found a small defect a damaged made from the screw driver slipping must be big as a pencil tip. Does this mean i need a whole new motherboard? I have a emachine w3080 btw
