Possible memory problem
Ok I have a new puter that constantly crashes reboots or just get not responding messages.
I have run memtest and it found many errors like 38,000 over an 11 hour period. The machine had 2 512 sticks so I took one out and got errors at 507.1 2 or 3 not every time but more than half the time. I took that stick out and put the other in got the same results, error at the same numbers 507.1 2 or 3. My question is. Would this point to a motherboard problem or possible processor problem. Or is it possible both sticks could have errors at the same place. OS XP pro Processor Athlon 64 3200+ MB MSI K8T Fis2R |
