I have a problem and hope that someone can give me some suggestions on a solution.
I have been using a kvm switch for my ps2 mouse, keyboard and monitor for many years now. Now I bought a cordless Logitech mouse with the receiver that plugs into usb. I plugged it directly into the computer as the kvm switch does not have usbs. At first the two mouse worked together. Then after a restart, the ps2 mouse that is connected to the kvm switch stopped working. Usb mouse and ps2 keyboard continued to work perfectly. In the control panel the ps2 mouse is not there. If I unplug the usb mouse and do a restart the ps2 mouse works correctly. Then when playing I noticed that there was a lag between when pressing a key on the keyboard and the action being executed. I tried to write something in the notepad and the lag was there too. On the other computer there is this lag too but it seems smaller. Before it was not there. I think all this points to the kvm switch but why would the usb mouse frequently does not work correctly or stops to work altogether and I have to unplug and plug it in again? Usb mouse has the official setpoint driver from logitech installed. ![]() Sorry for the long description of the problem. Hope its clear. |
