Optical drive - DVD tray
Having trouble with my Optical drive-DVD tray sticking in the computer. Have tried prying it open with no success. Any ideas??? THANKS..

Hi,
On most drives there is a tiny hole on the front bezel of the drive. It's for opening the drive without power, and you use it by turning off the pc, unplugging the power supply and sticking a paper-clip or similar into the hole. This releases the "catch". (If you have a disc stuck in the drive, you may need to remove the drive from the pc and take it apart!) |
