mr

I have a new LG computer monitor, model Flatron L222WS. When switching the power on, the message on the screen says "power saving mode". This message appears after a few seconds from switching it on and the screen just goes blank. I tried everything to get the monitor on, but nothing works. Please help.

Re: mr

Does your old moniter work with this PC?
What brand and model PC do you have, OF you have upgraded the video card what brand model is the card?
And lastly how are you connecting the monitor to the PC VGA port, DVI port,VGA to DVI adapter?

Re: mr

It's a new PC, therefor it's the first time a monitor is connected. The motherboard is a model G31T-M, Intel Core 2 duo 3.0 GHZ 1333FSB 6MB. I'm not sure, but think the monitor is connected via VGA 15 pin connector.

Re: mr

Do you have either another computer to test the monitor or another monitor to test the pc with?
