Unknown USB Device
Hi,
I'm trying to install an M-Audio O2 MIDI controller. I'm currently running XP. I downloaded the most recent driver from the M-Audio website, and ran the .exe file. The driver now appears in Device Manager under "Sound, video and game controllers" as "M-Audio O2 USB Driver" but has one of those yellow exclamation mark symbols over it, and lists a Code 10 error when I check the Properties. The actual hardware is still showing up as an "Unknown USB Device" in Device Manager. It seems to me that I just can't get the hardware to recognize the driver. I have used this device on a previous computer in the past but had no trouble with the installation. Any advice? I'm at a loss. Thanks! |
