installing a cd drive and cd burner
when i got my cd drive itcame with a cable and it said it was for audio and i didnt need it, i hav audio with it and i only have an IDE cable on it. if i get a cd burner will i need that audio cable. did i install the cd drive wrong or is it not needed?

You can just replace the CD drive with the CD-RW drive. As far as the analog cable, most of the time you can use digital audio, and the cable is unused. I put it in anyway, just in case there's an issue with some applications and digital audio.
