I purchased a spark7+ (xaser edition) for my p4. I'm just wondering if there is anyway to make it quieter. It is pretty loud. It expected to be someone loud, but this just seems too loud. It's not unbearable, but it would be nice if it was quieter. any suggestions?

if you run it on 9 volts it will be about 70% quieter, and still have 90% of it's power.

my friend heard that if u take the metal grate off of it it makes it quieter. do u think that is true? and if so, would you do it?

the metal grate can sometimes make more noise, yes.

as far as removing it, i wouldn't do it if anyone would ever get hurt by it, and i wouldn't do it unless my wires were bundled up nicely inside the case.
