Computer Freezes
I use celeron 950mhz which i used for windows XP earlier...
Now I am using win98, But my Pc freezes randomly sometimes. I checked the fan, changed the ram, evrything but it still persists. I cant get the source of the problem am facing, its very annoying.. The hints are, Pc hangs when i click on some program, its not any specific program, but any program, even if I click a window to maximize or open a new window. Thinking it to be a win98 operating system problem it does not happen frequentl, sometimes it happens very often or sometimes it does not freeze for 3-4 days..its just abrupt Thinking it to be a win98 operating system problem i decided to install winxp, but when i try to Install Windows XP, it works fine till the first restart, but after the comp restarts it just turns blank after the XP logo, every LED is on, ROM, HDD and RESET ( THE LED IS CONSTANTLY ON AND NOT BLINKING) but the comp does not respond and the Monitor goes in a standby mode, besides when i try to reboot using reset buton it does not function, i have to switch off the power button manually and on again to restart. This is the Most information I can provide. PLEASE HELP. |
