do you have another machine to check the monitor on?

PCI-E requires 26 amps at 12 volts. That's a 650W PSU.
Power Supply Info and Selection . Info on thermal compounds & application . TEST PSU USING MULTI-METER

Re: monitor screen shows no picture at all

OK Im now posting from my PC as I am using the monitor screen from my old PC. Its a Packard Bell, and everything seems to work fine except the screen is not placed properly in the centre (there is just a black strip down the left of my screen).

Anyway, as I can use this one, I would rather get the previous one fixed as it is much more better quality and this one is way to big, its killing my eyes!

dai - I dont know what you mean by your post (sorry). What exactly is the PSU and what 'side of the case' are you referring to?

Oh and to answer magnethead - I do have another machine and I did just test the monitor on it. The screen doesn't work on the other PC either, I get the same result. Until then, I maintain to ask if there is any way of repairing the existing advanced plasma screen that I have now or do I need to go out and buy a new one or send it to somebody for repair?

Re: monitor screen shows no picture at all

you need to get a quote on the cost to fix to see if it is a viable option
psu=power supply unit
don't bother being you have isolated it to the screen
