How much should I sell my PC for?

I'm looking to invest in a nice little laptop, nothing too flashy, just enough to brose the net and run things such as Photoshop, Sony Vegas and Football Manager, albeit not at the same time :P. Here are the specs;

Intel Celeron CPU 2.20GHz.
248MB Ram.
Windows XP.
74.5GB Hard Drive.
64MB Graphics.
DVD/-+RW DL Ultra Speed CD ROM / Burner
Logitech Optical Mouse.
Viglen Keyboard.
15" TFT Flat Screen Monitor

Cheers.

Re: How much should I sell my PC for?

I reckon that would only go for £200 if your lucky...
Luckily football manager doesn't need great specs, it'll run on the cheapest of laptops =]
Albeit slightly slower in some cases than you might like.

imo, you would be lucky to get 100 dollars. It really does not have much.

That's why I said if you're lucky :P
Although I bumped up the price because well monitors are normally quite pricey anyway.
Yeah on second thoughts though I'd probably try to sell it at $100 or something.
Are you throwing in software with it?

Re: How much should I sell my PC for?

Errr, full versions of Football Manager 2008, Photoshop CS3, Sony Vegas 8 and Dreamweaver CS3.

Would that add much to the forever reducing price ?

Re: How much should I sell my PC for?

The software, if genuine, is worth more than the computer.

if they are stolen software then they are worthless and you need to take them off before selling the computer. If you leave them on the computer and sell then you could be legally liable if the new owner reports you. And it would be easy to prove it was you who installed not the new owner.
