computer is shutting down as soon as it starts
My PC keeps shutting down once it starts up it does it usualy twice before it runs fine. It seems like it is over heating and at times wanrs me it is over heating but it hasnt even been on more than a minute. Can it over heat that fast? Is there a temp gauge in it that is outa wack? my thought is to replace the power supply but wanted to check with everyone first.

Re: computer is shutting down as soon as it starts
Hey mate,
you should clean case from dust and replace thermal paste on processor... Open the case, with compressed air clean all dust inside the case... Take off heat-sink on processor and clean it well... Remove old thermal paste and put new one [just a little bit], I would use Arctic Silver... Clean with compressed air PSU too... Try to start PC... Go to BIOS and monitor temperatures... Tell us about progress... And post temperatures... |
