Trying to set up Dual Monitors...

I've got a GeForce 8400 GS and it outputs HDMI, S-Video, and Digital Video. I also opened a small panel that said "Do not remove," and it had a VGA port. When I plugged my normal monitor into the DVI port and my other monitor into my VGA port under the little panel, only the DVI one worked. Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Trying to set up Dual Monitors...

Hi, welcome to TSF

If the panel said "Do not remove" then the VGA port might have been disabled.

Have you tried going into the Display settings to enable the second monitor?

Re: Trying to set up Dual Monitors...

Thanks!

Well I know it wasn't disabled because when I plugged my second monitor in, it turned black rather than having that Analog Self-Check Feature stay up. Someone from another board told me the VGA port was integrated to the MB. So, I'm not sure. And it didn't allow me to make a second monitor in the display settings. Is there maybe some type of converter cable for S-Video to VGA?
