USB to PS2 ...
hi there
I am trying to connect two pc's to a KVM ... I am using a USB keyboard and mouse ... The KVM is quite old and only has ps2 connections ... If i use a USB to ps2 converter the pcs do not regognise that the keyboard and mouse are connected via the KVM ... I have even tried just connecting directly to the ps2 ports in the back of each pc with the converters and still no joy ... Both pc's are running XP pro ... one with sp1 and the other with sp2 ... Of course I could just go out and buy a USB KVM and have done with it (this will, like as not, probably happen) ... but i was wondering if anyone know why this would be happening and how to solve it ... thanks |
