Small mouse issue

1) I love this website
2) I have a Gateway FX7026 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883113058)
without any changes except the mouse. The mouse is a Logitech m-bj58. 99.9% of the time it works fine. Every once in a while, with even the slightest movement, the cursor will fly to one corner of the screen when I just want to move the cursor an inch. Also, when playing a game, my screen will sometimes shoot up to the sky and spin around about 3 or 4 times. Does this sound like it just needs cleaning, is it getting old, is the laser just a little faulty or what?
Thanks for any help

Re: Small mouse issue

try the mouse on another computer and see if its doing the same thing. Maybe reinstall the drivers will help.

Re: Small mouse issue

It did this same thing on my dad's computer. We just switched computers, so would the drivers have changed at all since it was on my dad's computer?

Re: Small mouse issue

if its doing the same thing on another computer, it sounds like the fault is in the mouse and short of replacing it, theres not much you can do.
