Gamebridge AVC-1410 - Recording Problems

This thing is giving me a lot of problems.

The software that came with my Gamebridge seemed fine (InterVideo Home Theater), and I had heard good things about it. I was recording fine, had no problems. However, it began to happen that whenever I start the program up, there is no option to use the Gamebridge; it just isn't there. I can only view videos. And now, I can't open the program at all; it crashes before the window opens. Any help on this?

P.S. I'd love to try and reinstall the software, but it costs money unless it is installed from the disc, and for some reason clicking "Install Gamebridge TV" does nothing.

What the disc's startup window looks like: http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...ght78/gbtv.jpg

And if nobody knows about that, is there another program I can record videos from my Gamebridge with? I've tried DScaler already, but any videos I record have video that is very slow; the audio is fine, albeit a little lower quality than I would like, but the video is very laggy.

If anybody knows of a program, please let fall under these requirements:

1. Free
2. Lets me choose codec and file format
3. Can open MPEG-2 streams (I believe that is the format for the Gamebridge)
4. Resizable video (not required, but preferred)

Thanks in advance.
