Take apart a keyboard to clean...
Got a Compaq keyboard, need to take it apart to clean out some soda that was splashed over the center keys...
Any ideas on how to get it apart? Thanks!

Re: Take apart a keyboard to clean...
I would just buy another keyboard. The chances of being able to get it back together and working are slim. It's just the way it has always happened for me. You can pop the keys off with a flat, slim object and wipe where the key was with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol. However, this is just a quick fix. It will most likely only last a day or two.
Just my 2 cents. Hope it's useful to you, or someone else. |
