[SOLVED] Mic echo everything from my computer is transmited. HELP!!

Hello, my friend and i have both brought headsets so we can communicate to each other over windows live messenger and x fire, however when i talk i get a delay then hear myself talk again. I thought that my friends mic might be picking up the sound from his speakers so we disabled his microphone this did not fix the problem. I can hear every sound his computer makes, it is almost as if his sound card is sending me all his audio.

Please help.

Hey we think it may be something to do with the internal mic.

SOLVED: we just had to mute SPIDF, Line in, and cd audio. Don't know why but this fixed it.
