dell monitor powersave issue
I've just built a new system the video card requires a DVI adapter to connect my monitor. whenever I even attach the DVI adapter to the monitor cable, it goes into power save mode. I've already tried switching out the cable and the adapter, any other fixes out there for this issue?

Re: dell monitor powersave issue
I believe the model number is e196fpf in the 1905 series, the video card is an Asus EN8800GT but the problem is surely the monitor as it goes into power save mode as soon as I attach the DVI adapter

Re: dell monitor powersave issue
Hi, try pressing the menu button on the monitor for 15 seconds.
