When I type the word "correction" it appears as "corr+ection".
Word "appear" shows up as "app+ear".
Alphabet "e" between the words is either preceeded or followed by "+" sign.

Please note how errors appear when typing:

Fe+w days back this plus sign would ke+e+p app+earing inde+finite+ly in th+e te+xt I would write+, but the+s+e days that probl+em doe+s not show up any more+. Howe+ve+r the+ probl+em with th+e l+ett+er "+e" is stil pe+rsiste+nt. So ple+as+e he+lp. I am using windows xp.

Did you find out what the problem +was ?? I have exactly the same problem. I can't find out any details on the web if it's a virus. It may be dud +keyboard but +I would have thought the '=' would display because the s+hift isn't down.+ +Mine is an Acer laptop. I ran Norton's AV and it found noth+ing.
