Hi All,
I am facing this problem when installing HP 7650 scanner. When i run the setup it stop's in the middle and the following error message appears " There does not appear to be a compatible interface available.Your scanner supports the following connections- USB". I connected the scanner with a USB cable that came with the scanner. What can be the problem.... Please give ur opinions |

Re: HP 7650 Scanner
Hi, sometimes with scanners and other usb peripherals, you have to install the software before you actually plug the scanner into the usb port.
Check the install instructions. If that's the case, then uninstall and start again.

Re: HP 7650 Scanner
Are your USB ports version 1.1 or 2.0? Many modern devices, like the HP7650, will only use USB 2.0.
Also, check in BIOS to see if USB 2.0 is enabled (if available), and try the scanner in another USB port in case that one is faulty.
