Ipod unable to be recognized by CPU
Hello again,
![]() I'm back, with another problem. I think this is what happens when you buy a computer used from a retailer. When I plug in my ipod it is not recognized, and will not sync to itunes. It did sync once, since than all I've done was install norton 360, microsoft office, and fix a msvfw.dll problem due to a missing file. When the ipod is plugged in it searches for a long time before a message pops up "Your ipod needs to be reformatted for use with windows. would you like to run itunes to restore your ipod now? ", when you click ok, itunes opens and you are unable to restore because it is not recognized. When I sync with my laptop I have NO problems at all. The problem must be with this computer and not the ipod, oh, the ipod is newly (remanufactured), but again no problem on the other computer. Any suggestions? ![]() cs2 |
