if you want to successfully slipstream it into your xp disk that's the version you need

I have run the sfc /scannow and nothing came on the screen after it finished. You said the psu I have borrowed isnt much good, what should I get.

you don't have a demanding system power wise
check the event viewer and see if anything is listed at the time of the freeze
run memtest on the ram 1 stick at a time
