No signal to monitor when using VGA to DVI adapter
I just bought a new tower but realised when I got it that the connection on the graphics card for the monitor was a DVI connection and not a 15-pin VGA connection which my monitor requires. I went out and bought an adapter with a 15-pin female connection and DVI male connection. It all connects up fine but the monitor doesn't seem to detect / be able to display the picture. I've tried this with 2 monitors, both of which worked fine with the previous tower. Please help!
